Andy Boyle has spent the last 15 years leading a revolution in education. From K-12 classrooms, administrative offices and higher education, Andy has taught, modeled, and coached teachers of all levels on sound pedagogical methodologies and industry leading best practices while pushing the frontiers of technology integration and student learning.
As a classroom teacher, Andy built his first classroom website in 2003, went paperless in 2007, and pioneered using iPads in education in 2009. As an Instructional Technology Specialist at Kennesaw State University, Andy coached teachers on how to teach to connected students, modeled lessons aligned to the ISTE Standards, and worked with administrators on how to observe and assess 21st Century Teaching and Learning. He also consulted with a leading edtech company on 1:1 deployments in settings that ranged from one classroom in Houston, Texas, to 19,000 devices in Guilford County, North Carolina. As the Director of Professional Development for iSchool Initiative, Andy not only designed and delivered world class professional development to administrators, teachers, and students, but led a team of teachers and students across the nation that worked hands on with teachers.
